About Me

As someone who has battled her own mental demons, I understand that only within a non-judgemental, empathetic, and warm therapeutic space, can people feel safe to open up and be vulnerable. I hope to create just that for my clients.

I am a person-centred counsellor that welcomes collaborative dialogue with my clients as they discover progress, determination, growth, and celebration. Whilst borrowing from various therapeutic modalities to guide my work, I am an avid believer in the power of self-compassion, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Inner Child work.

I retain extensive experience working with relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, mood and eating disorders amongst all populations. I am also trained in providing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy  Dialectical Behavioural Therapy for adolescents, Emotionally-Focused Therapy for couples, Motivational Interviewing, and am a Level III Certified Eating Disorders Intuitive Therapist. In working as a trauma-informed Family Preservation Counsellor at a Delegated Aboriginal agency for 3 years, I understand the salience of maintaining cultural sensitivity. I am also working at Fraser Health as a Mental Health Clinician. I am able to provide services in English, Punjabi and Hindi.

Every day, I am moved by my clients’ courage and bravery to disclose parts of themselves that crave healing— a difficult process that I am all too familiar with. Should I have the privilege of entering your world, I aim to foster greater insight, and self-awareness of the inherent strengths you carry, as well as their roles in combatting life's biggest adversities.
